Forum Title: Plaster walls and new shelves
I am moving and turning a Bedroom into a closet. I need to know the correct method for installing racks to hang clothes. I have never dealt with plaster (1951 house) but know that it's not just putting in a toggle or molly. The outer walls are cinderblock. I have experience removing plaster (a wall just had to go!) but I don't want these walls crumbling when I do this. Thank you.

It sounds like you have standard window pane glass and it should be fine. The only other property might be UV filtering glass that many new windows come with and is sometimes used in picture frames. It that's what you have, it's even better.
